Clinton High School Scholarship Information
Did you miss our College Financial Aid Workshop here at Clinton ? There will be a workshop on Monday, February 22, 2010, at the Adrian Public Library. Library is located at 143 E. Maumee St. The workshop begins at 7 pm. The library staff will show library resources including the College and Career Center. Flyers are available in the Counseling Office and HERE.

Clinton High School subscribes to a scholarship service that is updated monthly. It is online at www.collegeguidanceconsultants.com/michigan. User ID and password is available from the counseling office.
LCEF WEB SITE – Students can access information regarding Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF) scholarships, fill out applications on-line, and then print out applications off the Internet (http://www.lisd.us/scholarships/index.aspx). There are over 200 scholarships available to Lenawee County high school students through the LCEF. If you have questions, feel free to call Maxine Smith at (517)265-1626. Applications through the LCEF will be available on this web site after January 1, 2010. Application deadlines vary, but most are in March 2010.

Scholarships Available
EMU Alumni Scholarship - 3.2 minimum GPA, Parent or Grandparent must be an EMU Alumnus. Applications are available in the Counseling Office.
Mason’s Scholarship – Thirty scholarships available for $1,000 each. Requirements are a GPA of 3.0+; ACT of 22+. Request applications by calling or web-site; additional information in the counseling office.
Jamie Farr Scholarship – Four, $3,000 scholarships. Requirements are an ACT of 24+ and family income under $55,000 annually. Information in the counseling office.
Herrick Health Career Scholarship – Pursuing a career in a health career field. Need is a consideration. Applications are available in the Counseling Office – deadline is March 19.
LCEF Scholarships are now available on line. Over 200 scholarships available to students attending Lenawee County high schools. Information available at LCEF website. Information is available in the Counseling Office. See Mr. Hashley for help. Deadlines vary; however, most are due in March.
Debra Ellen Bouchard Memorial Scholarship – based on need, citizenship and future goals. Student can be attending a four year, two year or technical college. This scholarship is a minimum of one - $1,000.00, maybe more. Applications will be available in the counseling office on Monday, March 1st. Deadline is: Friday, March 26, 2010.
Clinton Women’s Club Scholarship - information is available in the Counseling Office. Due date is Monday, March 29, 2010.
Michigan State Troopers Assistance Fund - $1,000 scholarships – 3.25+ GPA, community service and demonstrated leadership. Deadline is April 1, 2010.
Clinton Community Service Scholarship: Clinton High School offers (one) community service scholarship. The student must have contributed at least 100 hours of service within the past twelve months. Students need to submit a resume of their community service activities and document approximate number of hours contributed within the past twelve months. Resume’s Due By: April 1, 2010.
The Busch Family Foundation Scholarship – Two scholarships ($10,000 each; $2,500 per year). The applications are based on academic excellence and extracurricular activities in the school, church and community with particular focus on leadership roles. Deadline is Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

Jim Lyall Scholarship – Criteria: 3.0 + G.P.A. Admitted to college/university, heavy emphasis on community service. Essay required as part of application.

Clinton American Legion Scholarship - This scholarship is available to students who are or have attended the Lenawee Tech Center. Criteria includes making a video or written essay discussing one choice from a list of topics. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline is Saturday, April 24, 2010.
